Biography

Ernest Holmes (1887–1960) was an American New Thought writer, teacher, and leader.

He is best known as the founder of the Religious Science movement and the author of "The Science of Mind" (1926), a foundational text of that philosophy.

Holmes's teachings were influenced by a variety of sources, including the writings of Phineas Quimby, Ralph Waldo Emerson, and other figures in the New Thought movement.

He dedicated his life to spreading his message of spiritual empowerment, positive thinking, and the creative power of the mind.

Holmes also founded Science of Mind magazine, which continues to be published today.
